No rookie to the world of synthwave, Overvad has been plugging away since 2016. His latest release, Outer Reach, is a four track tour-de-force example of how synth based music can be used to explore deep space. In my opinion, no other form of music is better suited to put you in the mindset of floating among the stars in some unknown galaxy, but it's not an easy thing to do. How do I know this? Because so many artists try, but few truly succeed. You've got to be able to take a place in the far reaches of the galaxy, most likely in an unknown future, with technologies beyond those of our current understanding, and place the listener there using only music. See, doesn't sound so easy when it's spelled out, does it? Well, not only does Overvad accomplish this with Outer Reach, he does so in grandiose fashion, creating what can only be called a musical black hole to another universe.

Outer Reach is available NOW! While you're checking it out, be sure to take a look at Overvad's other amazing work. Though he may not have a dozen releases a year like some folks, there's no shortage of quality in the discography. If this is your first time hearing him, enjoy the deep space discoveries that lie ahead!
