Reaching the front page on Reddit with the pixel-art animated music video for "Every City We Reach Is Dead" near the end of 2017 Icarus began writing his debut album.  Since early Mars 2019, he has released a total of 3 singles together with music videos increasing his monthly Spotify listeners by over 1300% in just about three months.

Now, Icarus is back with his new single "The Less You Know The Better" and a brand new music video which is filmed in PoV, flirting with the music video for Smack my bitch up by The Prodigy.

Icarus is a pseudonym taken by the multi-artist behind the project creating all the music, film, and visuals himself.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Justice, Kavinsky, Danger, Porter Robinson, and Daft Punk his sound would be best described as a retro electro with an 80s flair combined with modern pop vocals.

Having a past in the music and film industry working with artists such as ARIZONA and the talented filmmaker Jesper Eriksson (At Night Management, Avicii), Icarus has an impressive resumé. However, as he believes the focus should be on the art and not the person behind it, the choice to wear a mask comes as a natural choice.

Make sure to grab this grazy good single over at bandcamp or stream it on Spotify.
