Icarus has been really delivering some very impressive work these days. His newest track entitled "Walls" not only is a catchy tune, it also features some of the best visuals I have ever seen in a independently produced music video.

As for the song itself, "Walls" is a powerhouse blend of Synthwave and Indie pop that is guaranteed to heat up any dance floor. With a catchy chorus supported by some very smooth vocoded vocals, "Walls" is a sure fire addition to any high energy party playlist.

As for the video, "Walls" opens to an eye catching lightning opening animation, where the main character Icarus is brought to our dimension somewhat reminiscent to the way the Terminator first appeared on our screens in Terminator 2. This is certainly a tip of the hat to all nostalgic movie fans for sure.

The rest of the video is a non stop attack of the senses that blends beautiful scenery, with complete lyrics, and shots flirting with other block busters such as Gladiator.

I briefly sat down with the artist to get a comment about the meaning of the video and song.

Dennis - "Conceptually in the video based on your earlier work, is Icarus an entity that embodies hosts as in the woman portrayed here?

Icarus - "Haha, looking back at my old videos that would totally be the case. Not in this one, however. It's more of a "same place different universes" kind of thing where both characters move around the same areas, but in alternate universes. In the end they manage to finally "reach" through to each other but as their relation is unsustainable they both dissolve as a result."

A grim end to a hauntingly beautiful video, watch it for yourself below!
